Why this site exists
I spent years working IT support for a large legal software company, watching small firms waste money on bloated tools they didn’t need — while missing the genuinely useful stuff because the marketing was too noisy.
When AI tools exploded in 2023-2024, the same thing happened again. Every week a new “revolutionary” tool, £30-a-seat pricing in US dollars, US-focused features, and guides written by the tool vendors themselves.
So I started AI Business Kit — a straight-talking guide for UK small business owners who want to find tools that actually save time and money, without the hype.
How we work
Prices converted to GBP. UK-specific compliance (HMRC, GDPR, VAT) flagged. Suggestions that work for UK sole traders, not Silicon Valley start-ups.
No jargon. If you’re running a café, a small law firm or a plumbing business, you should be able to read any guide here and walk away knowing exactly what to do next.
